Digital Learning Day is on its way

Digital Learning Day encourages everyone—teachers, librarians, school leaders, and parents—to participate, regardless of experience, in the exploration of digital teaching practices by starting a conversation, trying one new thing, and showcasing success.

The National Writing Project has partnered with the Alliance for Excellent Education, the New York Times Learning Network, Figment and Edutopia to spread the word about Digital Learning Day on February 1, 2012, support the building of a digital learning movement, and share resources for effective teaching. Over 33 states have already signed up to host their own Digital Learning Day events. (from the National Writing Project website)
