How could you not want to publish with 'Rogue Faculty Press'?

Some Nebraska Writing Project TCs have founded "Rogue Faculty Press" to publish writing--including creative writing--by teachers. This looks like a great opportunity.

They have a call for papers for a collection of "creative nonfiction" essays by teachers "that will entertain readers, humanize students and teachers, and explore the joys and frustrations of teaching in the age of budget cuts and standardized tests." Deadline is July 31; length is 300-3000 words.

We've seen some great pieces in summer institute portfolios that would fit this bill; let Kim know if you think the RRVWP should host a "day of writing" in June for people to take time out to try their hand at submitting for this. It sounds both fun and very much needed in the current educational climate.
