A reminder about NWP's work

"The Oregon Writing Project at Willamette University has received a $20,000 grant from the National Writing Project in support of its teacher leadership programs. Director Karen Hamlin says the grant will be used "to better prepare teachers for the growing challenges they face in the classroom." (from the National Writing Project website)

It's interesting to remember that, across the country, NWP is about supporting teacher leadership, so that teachers are better equipped to meet the demands of their jobs.
