Writing around town

Yesterday, the Red River Valley Writing Project hosted a "Write-around Grand Forks," a lovely afternoon of wandering around downtown writing and connecting with teachers.

In small groups, participants traveled to three venues of their choice and, at each venue, they wrote to prompts that encouraged them to record their observations and consider those observations in light of both detail and memory.
