Imitating a mentor text
According to Salvador Dali, "Those who do not want to imitate anything, produce nothing."
Along that line, today's prompt is to imitate a mentor poem, "Reasons to Survive November" by Tony Hoagland. Swap out "November" for another month, a season, a particular year, a period of time (like 7th grade), an event, a situation, a problem, etc. You can read Hoagland's poem at the following link.
