Writing Weekend Prompt

North Dakota Quarterly is accepting submissions for a special pocket-sized issue featuring fiction and poetry from writers throughout the state. The focus of this “mobile” issue will be micro-fiction (stories of 150 words or less) and short poetry.

We are looking for fresh, fun, and fast literature that can tell a story in 150 words or less. The challenge to you, the writer, is to capitalize on the limited space by making every word count.

We are also looking for short poetry. While there is no length requirement for poems, preference will be given to those that, again, make the best use of the least space.

The last day to submit will be March 20, 2015. Please send all submissions in a single e-mail to ndqmobile[at]gmail[dot]com.
