The to-do list keeps growing.
One thing taken off, two added in its place.
I stop.
I look over at my notebook.
A bright pink "b" jumps off the black background.
"buoyantly"
And it reminds me:
"In an optimistic mood"
As the waves of work and life whirl around me,
I will remain buoyant.
I will remain buoyantly optimistic.
