We collect things.
Papers. Assignments.
Tardy Slips. Make-up work.
More papers. More assignments.
We are teachers.
Sometimes the collection overwhelms.
But we teach
And we collect more than just paper.
Smiles. Laughter.
Ideas. Theories.
Joy. Sorrow.
Dreams. Disappointments.
Gratitude. Encouraging words.
We teach.
We collect--
But more importantly, we share life.
