The National Writing Project sent us a new book Keep it R.E.A.L.: Relevant, Engaging, and Affirming Literacy for Adolescent English Literature by Mary Amanda Stewart, published in 2017 by Teachers College Press and the NWP. This is a great book for those looking to support "English learners in a way that honors and leverages their native languages and cultures."
