Visiting Author Karen V. Hansen to lead writing workshop

Karen V. Hansen, author of Encounter on the Great Plains: Scandinavian Settlers and the Dispossession of Dakota Indians, will lead a workshop for writers interested in oral histories, memoir, and family history research writing. Participants will read excerpts from the book and engage in writing activities, feedback, modeling, and revision.The workshop takes place on Sunday, October 4th from 2-4pm in the Mandan Room of the Memorial Union on the NDSU campus.
