Tomorrow, the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards celebrate student artists and writers from across North Dakota. The celebration has been planned in advance and promises to be a night of excellence. This is a celebration planned and anticipated--honoring students in a public venue.
But sometimes the celebrations are quieter, held in smaller venues with smaller crowds. Sometimes these celebrations are as simple as a solo happy dance or a smile or a laugh.
So for all those celebrations, the big ones and the small ones, I want to honor you in your celebration. While I wish I could place a bouquet of flowers on your desk, that is impossible; so instead, I send you these flowers to your screen.
May you celebrate with joy.
