When I was 8 years old, I was a cheerleader. I wore a blue skirt and a blue turtleneck to match the blue pom pons I already had in my possession. Mom pulled my long brown hair back in a ponytail and labored over a blue felt "K" to attach to the front of my turtleneck. I was perplexed by that backwards K when I looked in the mirror. I learned an important lesson about reflection that night. Gooooooooooooooo, team backward K!
